Documentation and client requirements

Client security questionnaire support for law firms

We help your firm verify the controls behind its answers and organize the supporting evidence. The work is scoped to the client’s request; it is not a certification or guarantee of approval.

A useful response is evidence-backed

A policy is not the same as a working control.

A written policy explains intent. A configured control shows a setting exists within a defined scope. Operating evidence shows the control has been reviewed or tested. We keep those distinctions visible so the firm can disclose partial coverage rather than overstate an answer.

This is useful when a client asks about MFA, access after departures, endpoint coverage, backups, matter-file sharing, incident preparation, or staff training.

What leadership receives

  • Question-by-question response draft based on the client’s wording and scope
  • Evidence request list with responsible owners
  • Verified within scope, partially verified, and not verified status notes
  • Gap and remediation handoff for leadership and your IT provider
  • Final review with the firm before submission

Scope, access, and price

Who it is for

Firms with a client questionnaire, outside-counsel guideline, or evidence deadline and an owner who can approve the final response.

What we need

The request, deadline, in-scope systems, current policies, and access to agreed evidence. Do not send client files or passwords through the marketing form.

Catalog scope

$1,450 for the catalog engagement. Penetration testing, certification, and remediation are not included unless separately scoped.

Your existing MSP or IT provider can remain involved. We organize the evidence and identify gaps; they can implement agreed technical changes. If the request needs broader independent verification, compare the Law Firm Security Baseline.

Start with the actual questions

Share the question set, deadline, and high-level scope. We will confirm whether questionnaire support, an assessment, or separate technical work is the appropriate next step.
